Peter Higgins

Peter Higgins is a British author best known for the Wolfhound Century sequence -- Wolfhound Century, Truth and Fear, and Radiant State -- a fantasy series centered on the investigator Vissarion Lom, published by Gollancz in the United Kingdom and Orbit in the United States. Higgins has also published short fiction in anthologies including Fantasy: Best of the Year and Best New Fantasy 2, and in the magazines Asimov's Science Fiction, Fantasy Magazine, Zahir, and Revelation, with some of his shorter work appearing in Russian translation in the magazine Esli. The Wolfhound Century novels remain his primary claim to wider genre recognition, built alongside a body of shorter fiction published across two decades in genre magazines and anthologies.
