Peter Kujawinski is an American author who co-writes young-adult fantasy novels with journalist Jake Halpern. Their debut collaboration, Dormia, was published in 2009 and launched a series continued in World's End and Shadow Tree, following a boy who discovers a hidden village whose inhabitants can control their dreams. The two later co-wrote Nightfall and its sequel Edgeland, a young-adult fantasy duology set on a world where darkness falls for fourteen years at a time, forcing its population into a mass migration. Kujawinski's writing partnership with Halpern, which has spanned more than a decade, blends adventure plotting with inventive world-building aimed at younger readers, and the pair continue to develop the Bliss Universe setting introduced in their Nightfall books.
