Phillip Drayer Duncan

Phillip Drayer Duncan is an American fantasy and adventure writer known for setting magic against real Southern backdrops, from the Appalachian mountains to Memphis and the Ozarks. Self-described with the tongue-in-cheek tagline "World's Okayest Author," he began telling stories with action figures and notebook sketches before moving into full-length fiction. His main series is The Blade Mage, following a reluctant hero across several books beginning with The Blade Mage and Of Song and Shadow, alongside the standalone Moonshine Wizard and the Assassins Incorporated books. His work is published through small and mid-size genre presses, including Blackstone Publishing, Seventh Star Press, and Pro Se Productions, and several titles are also available as audiobooks.
