R. L. LaFevers

R. L. LaFevers (also published as Robin LaFevers) is an American author of children's and young adult fiction who grew up in Los Angeles and lives on a small ranch in Southern California. She writes across age groups: the middle-grade Theodosia series follows a girl who can see curses on Egyptian artifacts in Edwardian London, the Nathaniel Fludd, Beastologist books send a boy after mythical creatures, and the Lowthar's Blade trilogy is fantasy adventure for younger readers. She is best known for His Fair Assassin, a young-adult trilogy set in fifteenth-century Brittany about convent-trained assassin nuns, continued in the Courting Darkness duology. Dark Triumph won an Indies Choice Book Award Honor, and the series received a Mythopoeic Fantasy Award nomination.
