R. R. Haywood

Richard Haywood, who publishes as R. R. Haywood, was born on 17 May 1975 and grew up in Birmingham before his family relocated to the Isle of Wight when he was eight, where he still lives today. He served as a police officer with Hampshire Police from 1998 before leaving to write full time. His most widely read work is The Undead, a long-running post-apocalyptic zombie series, and his catalog also includes the science-fiction Extracted and DELIO trilogies, the thriller A Town Called Discovery, and the satirical adventure series Fiction Land. Haywood has released more than forty novels and has appeared on bestseller lists from the Wall Street Journal, the Washington Post, Amazon, and Audible, with total sales reported near four million copies. Tolkien, Asimov, and Arthur C. Clarke were among his childhood literary influences.
