Randy Henderson

Randy Henderson is an American writer of fantasy and urban fantasy, active since the late 2000s. A graduate of the Clarion West Writers Workshop and a member of SFWA, he won the Writers of the Future Golden Pen Award for his short story "Memories Bleed Beneath the Mask." He is best known for the Familia Arcana series, opening with Finn Fancy Necromancy (2015) and continuing through Bigfootloose and Finn Fancy Free and Smells Like Finn Spirit, which follow a necromancer wrongly banished for thirty years who returns to a modern world he barely recognizes. Henderson mixes screwball comedy with genuine supernatural stakes, and his short fiction has appeared in Penumbra, Escape Pod, and Realms of Fantasy.
