Rebecca Moesta

Rebecca Moesta Anderson is an American science-fiction writer born on November 17, 1956, in Heidelberg, West Germany, to American parents, and raised in Pasadena, California. After a Bachelor's degree from California State University, Los Angeles, and years living in Connecticut and West Germany, she settled in Livermore, California, working at Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory, where she met fellow science-fiction fan Kevin J. Anderson through a workplace club; the two married in 1991 and have co-written science fiction ever since, including fourteen Star Wars novels in the Young Jedi Knights series, two Titan A.E. tie-ins, and the Crystal Doors and Star Challengers series for younger readers. The couple also run the publishing company WordFire Press, where Moesta continues to write and edit.
