Rebecca Podos

Rebecca Podos is an American author of young-adult and adult fiction who also works as a literary agent at Neighborhood Literary. Her debut novel, The Mystery of Hollow Places (2016), a thriller about a teenager searching for her missing father, drew starred reviews, and she followed it with Like Water, which won a Lambda Literary Award for LGBTQ Children's/Young Adult Literature, and The Wise and the Wicked. Her fiction often centers queer protagonists navigating family secrets and questions of identity, and she has since moved into the fantasy realm with From Dust, a Flame and the romance-adjacent Homegrown Magic, as well as contributing a Marvel tie-in story built around the character Kitty Pryde.
