Rhiannon Lassiter

Rhiannon Lassiter is a British author of young-adult science fiction and fantasy, born in 1977 in London. The daughter of children's author Mary Hoffman, she began writing her breakout work at seventeen, and Macmillan accepted the first two books by the time she was nineteen. She is best known for the Hex trilogy—Hex, Shadows, and Ghosts—a dystopian series set in a totalitarian future Europe where hacking and genetic technology collide. She followed it with the Rights of Passage books, including Borderland and Outland, and the Super Zeroes series for younger readers. Beyond fiction, Lassiter has worked as a children's book reviewer and contributed to the review magazine Armadillo, alongside running a web-design business.
