Richard Phillips

Richard Phillips is an American science-fiction author born in Roswell, New Mexico, whose fiction draws on a technical and scientific background. He is best known for the Rho Agenda series, beginning with The Second Ship, in which teenagers discover crashed alien technology that draws them into a global conspiracy; the series has sold more than a million copies and expanded into two further trilogies, Rho Agenda Inception and Rho Agenda Assimilation, including novels such as Immune and The Kasari Nexus. He also writes The Endarian Prophecy, an epic-fantasy series beginning with Prophecy's Daughter and continuing through Prophecy's End. Science-fiction author Orson Scott Card has praised Phillips's grounding in real science, noting that his background lets him "nail the science aspect" of his fiction.
