Robert E. Margroff

Robert E. Margroff was an American science fiction and fantasy author born in 1930 in Fayette County, Iowa, who died in 2015. He is best known for co-writing the Adventures of Kelvin of Rud series with Piers Anthony, a sword-and-sorcery saga beginning with Dragon's Gold that follows a young man's rise from humble origins through a world of magic, dragons, and political intrigue. Margroff also wrote The E.S.P. Worm and its sequel Mouvar's Magic, along with the earlier novel The Ring. His work with Anthony represents his most enduring contribution to genre fiction, part of a long-running collaborative partnership between the two writers across multiple fantasy adventure novels.
