Robert J. Duperre

Robert J. Duperre is an American author of fantasy and science fiction, born in 1974 in Weymouth, Massachusetts. He is known for the post-apocalyptic Rift series, the young-adult science-fantasy Infinity Trials, and Breaking World, a secondary-world fantasy series co-written with fellow author David Dalglish and set in Dalglish's World of Dezrel, beginning with Dawn of Swords. Duperre has also written the linked fantasy series Knights Eternal and edited The Gate anthology series of dark short fiction. His collaboration with Dalglish reflects a broader pattern of shared-world building among independent fantasy authors. Across five series and twenty-seven titles, he has built a varied career spanning solo apocalyptic fiction, YA science fantasy, and collaborative epic fantasy since the early 2010s.
