Robert Masello

Robert Masello is an American writer of supernatural and historical thrillers, born in 1952 in Evanston, Illinois, who built an earlier career as an award-winning journalist and television writer before turning primarily to fiction. His novels typically weave real historical figures and events into contemporary supernatural plots, as in The Haunting of H. G. Wells, The Einstein Prophecy, which reached the top of the Amazon Kindle bestseller list, and The Jekyll Revelation. Earlier books, including Blood and Ice and The Medusa Amulet, established his blend of period detail and horror-thriller pacing. He has also written Robert's Rules of Writing, a guide to the craft drawn from his own career, and has been praised by fellow thriller writer James Rollins for blending science, historical intrigue, and fast-moving plotting.
