Robert Stanek

Robert Stanek is an American author who also writes as William R. Stanek, with more than fifty books published across three decades. He is best known for his Ruin Mist Chronicles, a multi-branch fantasy saga for both adult and younger readers that includes the Keeper Martin's Tales, In the Service of Dragons, and Ruin Mist Tales sequences, all set in the same kingdom of dragons, elves, and rival human realms. Stanek also writes contemporary fantasy as the Magic Lands books and military science fiction as the Dragons of the Hundred Worlds series, and has authored middle-grade Bugville books for younger readers under related imprints. His fantasy work is distributed widely across ebook, audiobook, and library platforms, and he maintains an active fan following on social media.
