Roshani Chokshi

Roshani Chokshi is an American author of young adult and adult fantasy, born in St. Louis in 1991 to a Filipino mother and a Gujarati Indian father. She left law school at the University of Georgia after selling her debut novel, The Star-Touched Queen (2016), a romance steeped in Hindu mythology that launched her into a string of New York Times bestsellers. She followed it with the heist fantasy trilogy The Gilded Wolves and, for Rick Riordan Presents, the Pandava Quintet, which draws on the Mahabharata for a middle-grade audience and was optioned for film by Paramount. Her honors include the Southern Book Prize for The Gilded Wolves and nominations for the Locus and Andre Norton Awards.
