Ryan Schow is an American author of post-apocalyptic and dystopian fiction. His Dark Days of the After series opens with an EMP-style societal collapse and follows it through further installments including Dark Days of the Purge, Dark Days of the Surge, and Dark Days of the Apostasy, while The Age of Embers and its companion books, The Age of Defiance, The Age of Exodus, The Age of Hysteria, extend his catalog of civilizational-collapse fiction.
