S. M. Beiko

S. M. Beiko is a Canadian author, artist, and editor based in Winnipeg. Her debut novel, The Lake and the Library (2013), was followed by the Realms of Ancient trilogy - Scion of the Fox, Children of the Bloodlands, and The Brilliant Dark - and by the Brindlewatch Quintet, beginning with The Door in Lake Mallion. She also writes and draws the webcomic Krampus Is My Boyfriend! and has edited genre anthologies including Imaginarium and Gothic Tales of Haunted Love. Beiko has won multiple Aurora Awards, Canada's national science fiction and fantasy award, and Scion of the Fox won the 2018 Copper Cylinder Award for young adult fiction.
