Sandy Williams is an American author of fantasy and paranormal romance. She is best known for the Shadow Reader trilogy — The Shadow Reader, The Shattered Dark and The Sharpest Blade — an urban fantasy series following McKenzie Lewis, a young woman able to track fae through the void between worlds, caught between rival courts of the fae Realm. Williams later extended the series with the Shades novellas (Shades of Treason, Shades of Honor, Shades of Allegiance), continuing McKenzie's story, and wrote the Anomaly duology, including A Void of Magic. Her fiction blends college-age protagonists, forbidden romance and fae political intrigue, and her debut Shadow Reader series established her within the 2010s wave of new-adult urban fantasy.
