Sarah Cawkwell is a British writer of tie-in fiction for Games Workshop's Black Library, working across the Warhammer 40,000 and Warhammer Age of Sigmar settings. She debuted with the novel The Gildar Rift (2011), a Space Marine Battles entry pitting the Silver Skulls chapter against a genestealer cult, and has since written extensively for the Word Bearers, Warhammer Heroes and Silver Skulls lines, alongside short fiction across numerous Black Library anthologies. Her novel Valkia the Bloody (2012), following a champion of Khorne through the Age of Sigmar's mortal realms, is among her best-known works. Based in North East England, she describes herself as a lifelong science-fiction and fantasy enthusiast, and continues to write short stories and novels set across the Warhammer universes.
