Sarah Fine

Sarah Fine is an American child psychologist and author of young-adult speculative fiction. Her debut series, Guards of the Shadowlands, beginning with Sanctum (2012), is a fantasy-romance built around the afterlife and its keepers. She followed it with Of Metal and Wishes, which reimagines a ghost story in an alternate-world Asia threatened by war, and the Servants of Fate series, set in a near-future, ecologically devastated Boston. With Pouya Shabazian, writing jointly as Walter Jury, she also co-wrote the science-fiction duology Scan and Burn, about a family secretly guarding technology sought by an alien power. Her later fantasy series The Impostor Queen, beginning in 2016, follows a young woman whose magical gifts fail to manifest as expected.
