Scott Speer

Scott Speer is an American filmmaker and author, born in San Diego in 1982. He began directing music videos before moving into feature films with his 2012 directorial debut, Step Up Revolution, and later films including Midnight Sun and Endless. Alongside his film career, Speer wrote the young adult trilogy Immortal City (2012), Natural Born Angel (2013), and Battle Angel (2014), set in a world where celebrity culture revolves around supernatural, angel-descended beings. His music-video work earned him the 2006 MVPA Award for Directorial Debut of the Year and a 2007 MTV Video Music Award Latin America for Video of the Year.
