Sharon Hinck

Sharon Hinck is an American author living in Minnesota who holds an M.A. in Communication from Regent University and has worked as an artistic director, choreographer, and ballet instructor. She writes Christian speculative and contemporary fiction described as stories "for the hero in all of us." She is best known for the fantasy series The Sword of Lyric, beginning with The Restorer (2007) and continuing through The Restorer's Journey and The Restorer's Son, and for The Dancing Realms series, including Hidden Current (2020), Windward Shore (2021), Forsaken Island (2021), and Dream of Kings (2022). Hinck has won four Christy Awards in the Visionary/Speculative category and four Carol Awards, and was inducted into the Christy Award Hall of Fame in 2024.
