Shelley Munro

Shelley Munro is a USA Today bestselling author of romance from Auckland, New Zealand, born in 1960. Early in her marriage, she and her husband set off on what New Zealanders call a big OE, or overseas experience, that stretched from a planned year into six years of travel, taking in encounters with a mountain gorilla in Rwanda, whale watching in Alaska, and ghost stories in an English pub. She draws on that restless travel history in her fiction, which spans contemporary, historical, paranormal, and science-fiction romance across series including the shapeshifter-focused Middlemarch Shifters, the alien-contact Alien Encounter, and the time-travel Dragon Isles. Now settled back in Auckland, she continues to write full time alongside her husband and dog.
