Simon Stephenson

Simon Stephenson is a Scottish screenwriter and author who has worked across film, television, and fiction. His books include the memoir Let Not the Waves of the Sea, about the death of his brother in the 2004 Indian Ocean tsunami, the novels Set My Heart to Five and Sometimes People Die, and the children's story The Snowman Code. He began his television career writing for the series Eleventh Hour in 2006, and has since built a screenwriting career in film, contributing additional material to Paddington 2 and Wonka, working as a story contributor on Pixar's animated feature Luca, and serving as writer and executive producer on The Electrical Life of Louis Wain, moving fluidly between the two mediums throughout his career.
