Skyla Dawn Cameron

Skyla Dawn Cameron is a Canadian author from southern Ontario who has written horror, urban fantasy, mysteries, and thrillers since childhood. She signed her first book contract at twenty-one for River, a werewolf novel that won the EPPIE Award for Best Fantasy, and has since built several ongoing series, including Demons of Oblivion, River Wolfe, Livi Talbot, and Elis O'Connor, alongside standalone novels such as Dweller on the Threshold. Her research habits are unusually hands-on: she has trained as a private investigator, studied lockpicking, and researched surgical procedures to bring authenticity to her fiction. A member of SF Canada, Cameron favors dark, character-driven stories that mix supernatural threat with crime and mystery elements throughout her body of work.
