Snorri Kristjansson

Snorri Kristjansson, born in 1974 in Reykjavik, Iceland, is an Icelandic novelist. His family moved to Norway when he was nine, where he lived for seven years, and he later trained in drama at the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art before earning a degree in English from the University of Iceland in 2010, developing his thesis project into his debut novel. He now lives in Edinburgh, Scotland, with his wife, the author Morag Hood. Kristjansson writes Viking-era fantasy, best known for the Valhalla Saga trilogy, comprising Swords of Good Men, Blood Will Follow, and Path of Gods, which follows warriors and gods clashing as Christianity spreads through Scandinavia. He has continued writing in the same historical-fantasy vein with the Helga Finnsdottir novels Kin and Council.
