Stan C. Smith

Stan C. Smith is an American author of science fiction whose broader bibliography also includes educational writing on zoology and animal behavior. He is best known for the Diffusion trilogy — Diffusion, Infusion, and Profusion — a genre-spanning saga that follows characters across genetically engineered evolution, time displacement, and interstellar contact. He continued the same fictional universe with the Bridgers series, including Obsolete Theorem and The Trial of Extinction, and the further spin-off series Across Horizons.
