Stephen A. North

Stephen A. North (born in St. Petersburg, Florida) is an American author of horror and post-apocalyptic fiction. He is best known for the Dead Tide series, a zombie-apocalypse saga beginning with Dead Tide and continuing through Dead Tide Rising and Dead Tide Surge, following survivors of an undead outbreak along the Florida coast. He also writes The Drifter series, including Beneath the Mask and Barren Earth, the latter co-written with fellow horror author Eric S. Brown. North's fiction centers on grounded, regionally specific apocalyptic horror, often set against Florida's coastal landscape.
