Stephen Woodworth

Stephen Woodworth is an American author of supernatural thrillers born in 1967 in California. He is best known for the Violet Eyes series, following investigator Natalie Lindstrom through Through Violet Eyes, With Red Hands, In Golden Blood, and From Black Rooms — a sequence of psychic-detective thrillers steeped in spiritualism and serial-murder investigation. Woodworth has also written The Nightbreed Chronicles and gothic-tinged short novels such as A Carnival of Chimeras and Fräulein Frankenstein, extending his fiction's interest in classic horror figures reimagined within contemporary thriller plotting. His work consistently pairs crime-fiction structure with supernatural or psychic premises.
