Steve Frazee, born Charles Steve Frazee in Salida, Colorado, on September 28, 1909, was an American screenwriter and author known primarily for Westerns and detective fiction. His single work of science-fiction interest, The Sky Block (1953), is a near-future thriller set amid the Rocky Mountains. He also published the story "Flying Saucers Do Exist" in Space Science Fiction magazine in 1957, later reprinted under the title Abduction. Frazee built his career largely within genre pulp and paperback markets typical of mid-century American popular fiction, working across westerns, crime, and occasional science fiction rather than specializing in a single genre. He died in California in 1992.
