Steve Higgs

Steve Higgs is a British author of mystery and urban fantasy novels. A former captain in the British Army, he worked as a mechanic before turning to writing full time, having won a creative-writing prize at the age of ten. His debut novel, Paranormal Nonsense, introduced the Blue Moon Investigations series, a comic urban fantasy following a private detective agency that handles supernatural cases, which has since expanded into regional spin-offs including Blue Moon Boston and Blue Moon Appalachia. He also writes the Patricia Fisher cruise-ship mysteries, Felicity Philips Investigates, and several other mystery and thriller series. Higgs lives in south-east England, describes having 'more than a hundred books' still queued in his imagination, and continues to publish across his many series at a rapid pace.
