Steve Lockley

Steve Lockley is a British writer and editor working primarily in horror and dark fantasy short fiction, often in collaboration with fellow writer Paul Lewis. He co-edited the Cold Cuts horror anthology series for Alun Press and has contributed licensed short fiction to the Doctor Who New Series Adventures range. His novella The Ice Maiden was recognized by the British Fantasy Award for Best Novella, and his short story "The Taking" was nominated for the British Fantasy Award for Best Short Fiction. Beyond short fiction, he has written longer supernatural mystery works, including entries in the Ogmios series and the Sally Reardon Supernatural Mysteries, building a body of work centered on British folk horror and quiet, unsettling dread.
