Steve Parker

Steve Parker is a British author born in Edinburgh, Scotland, who writes tie-in military science fiction for Games Workshop's Black Library imprint, set in the Warhammer 40,000 universe. He co-wrote The War for Rynn's World with Mike Lee, an omnibus centered on the Imperial Guard and Space Marine defense of a besieged world, and wrote Rynn's World and the novella Traitor's Gorge within the same story. His other Black Library fiction includes Deathwatch and Hammer of the Emperor, following elite Space Marine strike teams, Gunheads, an armored-warfare novel focused on Imperial Guard tank crews, and Rebel Winter, depicting an Imperial Guard campaign against insurgents on a frozen world. Parker's fiction consistently centers on the grinding, large-scale ground warfare of the Imperial Guard within Warhammer 40,000's grimdark far future.
