Stewart Hotston

Stewart Hotston is a British author of science fiction and fantasy who serves as Treasurer of the British Fantasy Society. His novella And Then I Woke Up, published by Tordotcom, was a British Fantasy Award finalist for Best Novella. He co-wrote Stars & Stripes, a 2022 tie-in novel set in the Watch Dogs: Legion video-game universe, with fellow author Sean Grigsby, and has written original science fiction including Tangle's Game, a corporate-espionage thriller, and the near-future political novels A People's War and A Family War. His fiction frequently explores the intersection of technology, politics, and personal survival in destabilized near-future settings. Hotston remains active within the British genre-fiction community beyond his own writing, including through his involvement in fan and industry organizations.
