Suzanne Harper

Suzanne Harper (born in Ohio) is an American author who has written extensively for young readers, both in original fiction and media tie-ins. She is known for adapting Disney Channel and Disney XD properties into novels, including entries for Wizards of Waverly Place, Phineas and Ferb, and Phil of the Future. Beyond tie-in work, Harper created The Unseen World of Poppy Malone, a middle-grade fantasy series that opens with The Secret Life of Sparrow Delaney and continues through A Gaggle of Goblins, A Gust of Ghosts, and A Mischief of Mermaids, following a girl from a family of mediums who can see ghosts. Harper's bibliography spans licensed tie-in fiction and original supernatural comedy for a middle-grade audience.
