Suzanne Young

Suzanne Young is an American author of young adult fiction, born in 1976 in Utica, New York. She is best known for The Program, a dystopian series set in a near future where teen suicide has become an epidemic and at-risk teenagers are forcibly enrolled in a memory-erasing rehabilitation program, beginning with The Program (2013) and continuing through The Treatment, The Remedy, and The Epidemic. She also writes the Girls with Sharp Sticks trilogy, following young women at a private academy who begin to suspect they may not be entirely human, and co-wrote the young-adult science-fiction novel Poet Anderson ...In Darkness (2018) with musician Tom DeLonge, continuing the Poet Anderson series begun with the 2014 short film The Dream Walker.
