Swati Teerdhala is a young-adult fantasy and romance author best known for the Tiger at Midnight trilogy, an Indian-mythology-inspired series following a rebel assassin and a soldier of the crown across The Tiger at Midnight, The Archer at Dawn, and The Chariot at Dusk. The trilogy blends political rebellion, star-crossed romance, and gods and prophecy drawn from South Asian folklore into a single continuing story. She has since moved into contemporary young-adult romance with The Boyfriend Wish, broadening her range beyond secondary-world fantasy while keeping her focus on close, tension-filled relationships between her leads.
