Tarn Richardson

Tarn Richardson is a British author born in 1972 in Bristol, raised near Taunton, Somerset, in a house reputed to be haunted -- an early influence, alongside a lifelong love of J.R.R. Tolkien, on his taste for the uncanny. Before turning to fiction he worked as a copywriter, devised murder-mystery dinner-party games, and spent more than two decades in digital media. He is best known for the Inquisitor Poldek Tacit trilogy -- The Damned, The Fallen, and The Risen, preceded by the novella The Hunted -- which follows a flawed Vatican investigator through a Europe consumed by the First World War, blending alternate history, horror, and supernatural conspiracy with wartime combat. He has also written the horror novels Ripped and The Village in the Woods, and lives near Salisbury, England.
