Teri Terry is a British author of young-adult science fiction, born in France. She is best known for the Slated trilogy - Slated, Fractured, and Shattered - a dystopian series about a teenage girl whose memory has been wiped as a criminal rehabilitation. Slated won the 2013 Angus Book Award, a UK teen-fiction prize voted on entirely by secondary-school pupils in Angus, Scotland, and was a 2014 finalist for the Monica Hughes Award for Science Fiction and Fantasy. She followed it with the Dark Matter series, including Contagion, Deception, and Book of Lies, continuing her focus on surveillance, identity, and control in near-future settings.
