Thomas Greanias is an American novelist born in 1965 in Wilmette, Illinois, known for archaeological thriller fiction. His Conrad Yeats series follows an archaeologist investigating the lost civilization of Atlantis and humanity's hidden origins alongside linguist Serena Serghetti, beginning with Raising Atlantis (2005) and continuing through The Atlantis Prophecy, which reached the New York Times bestseller list in 2008, and The Atlantis Revelation (2009). He also writes the Sam Decker series of espionage thrillers, including The Promised War (2010) and The 34th Degree (2011), and has written tie-in fiction connected to the augmented-reality game Ingress. Greanias originally conceived the Conrad Yeats series as a longer sequence but has so far completed three main novels, alongside related prequel stories collected as The Virgin Mysteries.
