Tiana Warner

Tiana Warner is a Canadian author from British Columbia known for young-adult fantasy built around mermaid mythology. Her Mermaids of Eriana Kwai series, beginning with Ice Massacre, reimagines mermaids as dangerous predators and follows a young warrior sent to hunt them who instead finds herself questioning everything she has been taught. She followed it with the Sigrid and the Valkyries duology, a Norse-mythology fantasy centered on a girl training among Valkyries in Helheim. Warner has since moved into adult sapphic romance and romantasy, expanding her range beyond her earlier young-adult fantasy while keeping her focus on strong-willed heroines navigating dangerous, myth-inflected worlds. She is active on social media, where she also documents her work in dog rescue.
