Tish Thawer

Tish Thawer is an award-winning American author of young-adult fantasy and paranormal fiction, based in Missouri. Before writing full time, she worked as a computer consultant, photographer, and graphic designer, and she now also runs Amber Leaf Designs and Amber Leaf Farms, a lavender farm she established in 2022. Her best-known work is the Witches of BlackBrook series, and she has also written The Women of Purgatory, The Rose Trilogy, and the Ovialell series, building detailed magical worlds that reviewers have compared to the work of Nora Roberts and Charlaine Harris. Thawer's books have repeatedly reached the top of Amazon's Kindle bestseller charts, and she has won awards for best fantasy/science-fiction novel in both 2018 and 2020. Her fiction and branding have crossed into wider pop culture, with features in British Glamour and Elle Magazine and a promotional appearance on a Times Square billboard.
