Tom Doyle

Tom Doyle (born 1964) is an American writer of fantasy and science fiction. He is best known for the American Craftsmen series - beginning with American Craftsmen and continuing through The Left-Hand Way and War and Craft - a contemporary fantasy sequence about magic-wielding U.S. soldiers descended from Cotton Mather and Nathaniel Hawthorne. He also writes short fiction in the same setting, collected as The Wizard of Macatawa and Other Stories and continued in the novella Border Crosser. His story "The Wizard of Macatawa," first published in the magazine Paradox, won the 2008 WSFA Small Press Award for short fiction.
