Tom Huddleston is a British author of fiction for children and teenagers, born in Kendal, Cumbria, in 1976 and raised across Yorkshire before studying at the University of Sheffield. Alongside his fiction he has worked as a film journalist, editor, and musician, based in London. His novels include the Star Wars tie-in Adventures in Wild Space series, several entries in Games Workshop's Realm Quest line of Warhammer fiction such as Lair of the Skaven and Flight of the Kharadron, and the environmental disaster novel Floodworld, in which a flooded future London becomes a scavenger's playground for its young protagonists. He has also written The Future King and the standalone novel The Waking World. Huddleston's work regularly moves between original speculative fiction for younger readers and licensed fiction set in established franchise universes.
