Travis Heermann

Travis Heermann is an author, screenwriter, and filmmaker who writes across fantasy, horror, and military science fiction. He is a longtime contributor to shared-world franchises, including Margaret Weis Productions tie-in projects and multiple entries in the BattleTech novel line, and has published short fiction in anthologies such as Cthulhu Mythos collections. He hosts the interview podcast Blogging the Muse, featuring conversations with fellow fantasy authors including Janny Wurts. He is best known for his own Ronin Trilogy, a historical fantasy sequence set in feudal Japan blending samurai action with yokai folklore, and for the urban fantasy Shinjuku Shadows series set in contemporary Tokyo, reflecting a sustained interest in Japanese history and mythology alongside genre collaboration.
