Tricia Rayburn

Tricia Rayburn is an American author of novels for tweens and teens who lives in an old farmhouse on Long Island's North Fork. She is best known for the Siren trilogy — Siren, Undercurrent, and Dark Water — a young-adult mystery series built around a supernatural threat along the Maine coast. Rayburn has also written the Maggie Bean series and Ruby's Slippers for younger readers, and published the middle-grade Merits of Mischief series under the pen name TR Burns. Beyond her own writing, she mentors emerging authors through the Stony Brook Southampton Children's Literature Fellowship Program, and has built a steady career in tween and teen fiction spanning more than a decade.
