Tristan Palmgren

Tristan Palmgren is an American science-fiction author. His debut novel, Quietus (2018), follows a plague-stricken multiversal anthropologist stranded in medieval Florence during the Black Death, and its sequel Terminus continues the story into a different historical crisis. Palmgren has also become a prolific writer of licensed media tie-in fiction for Aconyte Books and Marvel, including Domino: Strays and Outlaw: Relentless in the Marvel Heroines line and The Unbeatable Squirrel Girl Universe and The Siege of X-41 in Marvel's X-Men-adjacent lines; his Squirrel Girl novel won a 2023 Scribe Award. His fiction moves between literary, historically grounded original science fiction and fast-paced licensed superhero adventure.
