Viido Polikarpus

Viido Polikarpus (born 1946) is an Estonian-American visual artist and author. Beyond his primary career as an illustrator, he collaborated with musician Cris Williamson in 1982 on a science-fiction and fantasy fable released jointly as an album and companion book. He later co-wrote the children's novel Down Town (1985, Arbor House) with editor and writer Tappan Wright King, published by a small press imprint associated with the science-fiction and fantasy field. Polikarpus's work sits at the intersection of visual art and speculative storytelling, reflecting his background as an artist who moved between illustration, music collaboration, and prose fiction over the course of his career.
