W. M. Akers

W. M. Akers is an American author and journalist known for the Gilda Carr Tiny Mysteries series, a Prohibition-era fantasy-mystery sequence set in Westside, a fictional, magically quarantined stretch of Manhattan cut off from the rest of the city. The series began with Westside (2019), continuing through Westside Saints and Westside Lights, and follows a private investigator specializing in small, seemingly trivial cases that open onto larger supernatural mysteries.
