Warren Fahy

Warren Fahy is an American author and screenwriter known for science-based thrillers. His debut, Fragment (2009), imagines a reality-television crew discovering a remote Pacific island whose isolated ecosystem has evolved into something lethally alien, blending hard-science speculation with disaster-thriller pacing; Fahy also wrote a screenplay adaptation that was optioned for film. He continued the story in Pandemonium (2013), following the same evolutionary premise into a new setting, and wrote the related novel The Kor (2011). Fahy's fiction sits in the tradition of techno-thrillers built around real evolutionary biology and ecology pushed to speculative extremes, aimed at readers of Michael Crichton-style science adventure.
